CUT SPECIMENS

2. Flower/Stalk bearing seed head(s), fresh or dried
3. Arrangement of Fall foliage, 1-3 branches, not to exceed 18” in any direction, arranged in a container of your choice.
4. Best of My Garden, a collection of 3-5 herbaceous varieties, arranged for effect in a single container of your choice. Key card required.

5. Fruit or Vegetable, (single variety) exhibited on a white paper plate supplied by HVGC.
FROM GARDEN TO KITCHEN – Each class MUST contain at least one named ingredient from your garden. To be judged as a Par class.
6. Soup, Sauce, Salsa. One container of soup, sauce or salsa.
7. Preserved fruit or vegetable. Exhibitor to provide three identical jars that have been sealed and covered using standard canning techniques. One jar will be opened for tasting.
8. Baked Good (i.e. bread, muffin, pie, cobbler, quiche etc.)
